At the end , what would you regret the most ?

Life has started  on the forties track . If I sometime go down the memory lane , there are many flashes of happy , sad , crazy or even  tough moments . I was in class 2nd when we used to go to school in a rickshaw . It was fun , many times getting off the moving rickshaw and then again getting on it with Ramu Bhaiya getting irritated . But I don’t regret that time . I was in class 10th when we were given farewell party by juniors and rampwalk used to be an essential part of the party . I used to be an idiot when it came to fashion , make-up or style walk . Still  I draped myself in my mother’s magenta saree and did some chaos on the stage. But I don’t regret doing all that funny . I was doing my PG when we bunked many times , made fun of our professors , used to be busy and happy   dancing , watching horror movies or teasing one another  . Around 7-8 years back , a beggar woman used to come to our home every sunday . She was an aged woman (i think in her sixtees) , patchy skin and dark complexioned , always dressed up in a shabby saree  , hair so rough and dishevelled , with a ripped pair of chappals showing her  totally cracked heels. I think she must be  from any of the  remote villages of some other city , that I just didn’t understand her language . Ringing our bell , she would call out loudly ” Chapp…..” I just don’t know what that word meant . Her looks and her voice were irritating for me . Every morning I set four alarms you know . Starting from 5 o’clock in the morning ,the others are set each  at a gap of 20 minutes , so as to make sure that I am finally out of bed by 6 o’clock  . When the first alarm rings , I always hit the snooze button and go to a beautiful tiny nap once again . So every morning I have 2-3 snoozes and then 2-4 alarms jerking me to finally get up and start my day . I have to hurry then so much for everything ,  quickly finishing kitchen work , packing tiffins and then myself  rushing to office . Thanks to my good time management skills. How good it would be if the ring of my first alarm at 5 o’clock got me out of bed ? There would be no rushing at all . It would be a relaxing start to  my day . I happened to read the autobiography of Helen Keller -one of the very influential people of the world .
