Myla and her son --a story #Momology

Under #Momology participation , Today I choose a picture prompt and try my hands on fiction . Playing with maps was their favourite game .  Right from his early childhood when other kids just learn A for Apple and B for ball , Arjuna tried to learn A for Australia  also along with A for apple (and ofcourse A for Arjun too) ,  B for Belgium  also in addition to  B for Ball . Credit to his mommy Myla .  Arjuna’s  father was working with an international travel agency and had to visit different countries off and on .  Arjuna  used to feel so happy  when  Myla  would  show him  the current  location of his Dad on the world map. “Mommy , Dad is not so far from us , see it’s such a small distance . Food Mindfulness – Have you heard about that ? Fitness  , Health , Weightloss are the buzzing keywords in today’s times . We all want to be healthy , maintain an ideal weight , look smart and feel good . Exercise and Diet form two important aspects if you are on fitness or weightloss journey . Maintaining an ideal weight may be difficult but staying close to the ideal is achievable with small but consistent efforts . You start with your walking or gym schedule  , strive hard todo it on routine basis but when after a month or so  you don’t see any results , the motivationgoes down the track and then you start making excuses . Motherhood titbits that I cherish #Momology

F I am a Mom , mom to a beautiful daughter who is 12 years old now . Now at this stage , my daughter has become more like a friend . While sharing our bed at night , she shares her school titbits and I love to listen to the chatterbox along with sharing hugs and kisses . Before we actually go to sleep , we read a story from a book or I myself build one . The other fun activity without which we can’t   go to sleep  is  playing word connect game  on mobile . It’s a good mind exercise for both of us. And I feel happy when most of the time she wins. Although it seems very cool but Motherhood sometimes exhausts me, may be  because Mind is  trapped in many other responsibilities of life . Getting up early in the morning , packing tiffins for husband , me , my daughter and then myself rushing to the office with no breakfast most of the times , coming in evening , deciding on the way what’s to be prepared in dinner , buy veggies , come home , help daughter in homework , then prepare dinner ,

I am not a Parenting expert but Yes ! I am a parent having 12 years of experience.  I am a Mom to a daughter who turned twelve year old in Jan 2019. Nobody is born with special skills  in this world  .  We all learn from here and there – from our family , our surroundings and certainly by our  mistakes in the process of learning .  The same applies to Parenthood ,or I should say motherhood in my case . Parenthood is a great skill and I think we all are learners . In the process , we all form our own Parenthood mantras . I can’t call myself  very emotional woman but If I analyze my 12 years of parenthood till date , what I find is that I am becoming  quite emotional as I am growing as a Mom. Right on the day of birth of my daughter , the happiness flew as tears when I looked at the little wonder  for the first time .
