My Lockdown Walking Story and the benefits I achieved

Walking helped me keep myself away from  Lockdown stress  . As the COVID19 pandemic gripped the world , the country was locked down running up to 5 phases . Though the number of cases in the initial period were less but still the fear was huge . Everyone was locked in his home , curfew in cities , challans for breaking curfew rules and many battles fought by the warriors of Corona virus . Well I am not here today to discuss the virus and its effects , rather I am here to share my walking story during Lockdown and the benefits I achieved . During the first 50 days of lockdown I was completely locked inside my home , trying to keep myself creatively busy in one or the other ways – cleaning my home , reorganizing my wardrobes , trying some new recipes , reading , Netflix , spending time with my daughter playing some games or story-telling . I also kept myself busy in self publishing my eBook – a self-love book for women. (I am giving link to my book at the end of this post. Being all the

Chai and Samosa Story #ShareChoresMultiplyLove #SharetheLoad

As the country announced lockdown due to the pandemic virus , it felt as if everything came to a standstill . We got  locked inside our little home and were just not allowed to go anywhere outside . My daughter’s school , mine and my husband’s office all were locked . The daily news of the COVID19 were becoming stressful . But amidst all the bad situation the world was going through  , we felt  grateful for being  safe and healthy . The intial phases of lockdown came out as a blessing in disguise for the family . Though there was lockdown  stress all the time at the back of my mind but I was getting more and more time to spend with my family . Though the news flashing were of the positive cases , deaths , graves but I was grateful as I was getting time to spend in my prayers . Though I couldn’t step outside and meet anybody but I was happy keeping myself engaged  in creational activities –cooking , reading , writing and lettering . There was no domestic help , so I was playing multiple

Positivity during Lockdown -The steps I took #pandemicdiaries2020

Lockdown changed our life upside down From the last 4 months our life pattern has entirely changed . We are all locked down in our homes, not able to meet our loved ones , not able to reach out to friends and just jump on them for a hug . It’s difficult to even imagine that in near future . During Lockdown 1.0 the country together rang  bells in the balconies , lighted diyas to be a ray of light and hope for the warriors . In those initial days It felt to me as if I was on a holiday from my hectic work schedule. Though the news did send vibes full of worriness but I was creatively happy trying new dishes in my kitchen . The month long blogging challenge I took in April kept me positively busy during lockdown 2.0 and I was working hard to publish my eBook .By the end of Lockdown 3.0 , my book ‘The Silver Lined mommy’ was published and I wanted to be back to the normal routine but there came the next phase of Lockdown. The place where I live still being in red zone , it was  becoming st

You are blooming #eBookReview

Motivation is something we need almost on daily basis . I was also feeling a bit low and wanted to read something which could fill me with hope and smile . Under the motivation category , the book “You are blooming’ by  Swarnali Nath catched my attention by its ecstatic bookcover . The author Swarnali Nath  is an engineer, blogger and writer. She is the founder of the Mindfulness and Motivational blog ‘The Vaidik Journal’. She writes about her personal reflections on her personal blog ‘The Saffron Journal.’ The moment I picked this  yellow flowers book to read and started reading the acknowledgments , i felt as if hugged with many positive vibes . The author started the book by dedicating her book to Maa Mahamaya . The book is divided into different sections- Hope , Beauty and Grace . The author beautifully addresses the reader with different names like storyteller , dreamer , hopeful , fearless or a sea of light . Every chapter revives a feeling of more courage , self-belief and happi
