Starting September 1 , I am taking part in the BIG blogging campaign #MyfriendAlexa and I have been writing my posts under the theme #LetusKISS . KISS is an acronym for Keep it Simple and Significant and I express  my  gratefulness to God who made  me choose this as my theme  I have shared my mind and heart on keeping our Life as simple + significant , and stop unnecessarily making  it Complex . Let us focus more on the aspects which make Life significant , memorable and  appreciable . Nowadays I  often get to read or hear the words – Mindfulness , Gratefulness ,Joyfulness …. The point is why do we need these words ? I mean why ? All these words are ending with fulness . Are we lacking some fullness in our lives ? What do you think ? I think Yes ! we are somewhat lacking the fullness which we actually want out of life . We always feel like we are lacking something , we feel some emptiness in our lives , we feel stressed , we have got habitual of worrying constantly -may be about  past or the uncertain future . We forget being in the Present moment  We are eating our food but most of the times we just don’t relish its real taste because while eating ,we are either watching TV or talking with others or lost in self thoughts . We  drive daily in the morning  but we are doing it in auto mode . We are not enjoying the winds or the surroundings while driving because we are either worried about reaching our destination in time or murmuring about the little ...

Self-Care is not at all selfish . It is a very important aspect of our life . Self-Care means taking care of our body,mind and soul . We all need to devise few self-care tips or mantras that can ease our life and let us feel calm, stress-free and happy . We can spread happiness around only when we ourselves are happy . Isn’t it ? Let me share some of my personal Self-care mantras that ease my life and let me Be Calm :– 1. My Prayers I spend only 4-5 minutes in my daily prayer when I light up the diya in the small little puja corner of my home and I just stand with folded hands and eyes open  . The picture of Lord Krishna in Baalroopa in my little temple keeps me mesmerized .  It’s only occasional that I chant some aarti  also .Prayer shouldn’t mean only  demanding from God . When was the last time you pressed a pause button in your life ? When was the last time you sat in silence for 10-15 minutes ? When was the last time you took a real  break from social media for a day ? When was the last time you took a leave from office just for yourself &  not only for your pending works ?     Calm down ….Calm down ….. Why  this phrase ” Calm Down ”  has to be used so often? – sometime we tend to say it to any of our friends or vice-versa. What puts us in stressful situations ? Do we actually need to calm down ? What should be done to calm ourselves ? Any tips ?   I was in college , doing my graduation . Although it was too early to think of but somehow the journeys of the  fantasy  world  had started -where a handsome Prince comes running on a horse , looking for his princess . That princess in my fantasy world was none other than ME . But the Prince Charming was still unknown . Yes I started dreaming of marriage and that too   love marriage . Watching hero heroines in movies , enormously in love with each other ,and also watching few girls in my college who spent hours talking on phone and blushing , spending bucks on lipsticks and sometimes highlighting their eyes with gifted eyeshadows , their boyfriends waiting for them on bikes in the evening after college time , all this wrote in my mind that I also wanted Love .
